Four receive TGSAC fellowships

Each year, the Technology Graduate Student Advisory Committee (TGSAC) assists several CoT graduate students in completing their Ph.D. dissertations and M.S. theses by providing fellowships to fund resources and services necessary to the graduate student’s research.

The recipients of TGSAC fellowships for the 2012 – 2013 academic year are:

  • Jordi Cuadrado Borbones, building construction management, "Persuasive real-time feedback on electricity consumption to induce conservation behaviors: an experimental way to further reduce electricity use in a LEED-certified building at Purdue University"
  • Wei Dai, mechanical engineering technology, "The morphology and mechanical property improvement of Al-Si alloy with Sr addition"
  • Eric Katz, computer and information technology, "Geo-Visual Timeline"
  • Marcus Thompson, computer and information technology, "Forensic Discovery of Digital Evidence on the Amazon Kindle"
